Establishment:
The General Administration of National Health Economics and Policies was established based on the decision of the General Secretariat of the Saudi Health Council No. (18987-2) dated 01/09/1440 AH.
Vision:
The General Directorate of National Health Economics and Policies be the primary reference for policies, health economics and strategies for all health sectors in the Kingdom.
Mission:
1. Develop national health policies based on evidence and principles of economic management to raise the efficiency of the Saudi health system’s performance in accordance with the Kingdom’s vision.
2. Preparing, evaluating and amending operational plans for the healthcare strategy in the Kingdom in cooperation with all relevant sectors and entities.
