Establishment:
The Center for Health
Research and Studies was established in 1433-1434 AH in the Saudi Health Council by
Cabinet Resolution No. (11), dated 01/12/1434 AH. to be the center responsible
for research activities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The center's foundation
resulted from the Kingdom's and its leadership's commitment to organizing and
enhancing scientific research's role in advancing the health sector. The Center
for Health Research and Studies (Articles 10, 11, 12) and Cabinet Resolution
No. (86), dated 01/28/1445 AH, establish the creation of the Center for Health
Research and Studies, outlining its responsibilities and capabilities. which specified
the internal and external functions carried out by the center in the field of
health research.
Mission:
Building a
sustainable health research system that helps construct and implement national
health research strategies, that is based on scientific evidence, by collaborating with relevant sectors.
