2- Follow up the procedures for funding health research in the Saudi Health Council, in accordance with the relevant statutory procedures.
3- Follow up the implementation of research projects funded by the Saudi Health Council.
4- Diversifying the sources of funding for health studies and research activity in the Saudi Health Council.
5- Working on collecting, preparing and managing relevant data and sharing it for the purpose of conducting health studies and research in the Saudi Health Council, in accordance with the relevant statutory procedures.
6- Attracting researchers in the fields of public health and health policies in the Saudi Health Council.
7- Establishing partnerships in health research and studies with the public and private sectors in a way that contributes to raising the efficiency and growth of the participation of the Saudi Health Council in the field of research and studies that support decision-making, in accordance with the relevant statutory procedures.
8- Working on issuing scientific periodicals specialized in health research, holding seminars and conferences in the field of health research and studies, and participating in that when they are held inside and outside the Kingdom.
