Cancer Champions Program for children and their families during the treatment period at Cancer centres in cooperation with the SANAD Charity through production of educational materials, raising awareness, recreational and artistic activities.
Project objectives
1. Educating children about the disease and treatment methods.
2. Educating parents about how to deal with affected child.
3. Encouraging children to express their feelings.
4. Training volunteers on how to deal with children with cancer.
5. Awareness-raising campaigns and the launch of the International Children Cancer Day.
Scope of work
Preparation of a comprehensive raising awareness program for children of cancer, in cooperation with the King Faisal Special Hospital and the Riyadh Research Centre, and with the support and sponsorship of the SANAD Charity.
