Project objective
1. Educate infected children about the disease and treatment methods.
2. Sensitize parents about how to deal with the injured child.
3. Encourage the injured child to express his or her feelings.
4. Train volunteers on how to deal with infected children.
5. Awareness-raising campaigns and the launch of the International Children ' s Cancer Day.
Scope of work of the project
Preparation of a comprehensive awareness-raising programme for children of cancer, in cooperation with the King Faisal Special Hospital and the Riyadh Research Centre, and with the support and sponsorship of the Sindh Children ' s Cancer Society.
