​Establishment​:

​ The first beginnings of the Saudi Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI) date back to 2001, when it was represented in the Total Quality Program in       Makkah, an initiative that aimed to improve the quality of health care delivery in the Makkah region.
 In 2005, by ministerial order, the Total Quality Application Program was developed in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and was called the Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare   Institutions, whose powers were expanded to include all regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.​

 To be the first health accreditation body in the region.

 We support all health facilities through accreditation towards continuous adherence to quality and patient safety standards.
