​Establishment​:​

The General Administration of National Health Economics and Policies was established based on the decision of the General Secretariat of the Saudi Health Council No. (18987-2) dated 01/09/1440 AH.​

 

Vision:​

T​he General Directorate of National Health Economics and Policies be the primary reference for policies, health economics and strategies for all health sectors in the Kingdom.​

 

Mission:

• Develop national health policies based on evidence and principles of economic management to raise the efficiency of the Saudi health system’s performance in accordance with the Kingdom’s vision.
• Preparing, evaluating and amending operational pl​ans for the healthcare strategy in the Kingdom in cooperation with all relevant sectors and entities.​​​
