Reference to Saudi Health Council Resolution No. (5/95) dated 02/05/1443 AH, which included approval for the establishment of a permanent national committee for medical rehabilitation in the Saudi Health Council with the following tasks:
1. Developing the necessary legislation to practice medical rehabilitation services and providing suggestions, studies, and scientific and technical advice regarding medical rehabilitation in its various specialties.
2. Reviewing the legislation and regulations related to scientific and health medical rehabilitation and proposing their amendment.
3. Preparing national health policies and standards and proposing procedural and technical rules in the field of medical rehabilitation.
4. Developing the health aspect of the National Disability Register.
5. Propose health programs and projects with medical rehabilitation after being studied by the committee.
6. Supporting research programs and setting priorities in the areas of medical rehabilitation.
7. Any other tasks added to the committee in the areas of disability and medical rehabilitation.
