Saudi Health Council Resolution No. (2/91), dated 02/03/1442 AH, stipulating the establishment of a permanent committee called the National Committee for Health Ethics, to undertake the following tasks:
1. Study emerging medical issues and propose ethics related to them.
2. Proposing regulations and policies related to medical ethics.
3. Proposing the organization of the work of ethical advisory councils for health service providers.
4. Providing scientific advice to beneficiaries.
