About the committee

With reference to the Royal Decree No. 47479 dated 01/08/1443H, regarding breast milk substitutes, and the formation of a committee under the Saudi Health Council representing the health sectors with the following tasks:

Establish a policy for the mechanism of providing milk substitutes in healthcare facilities across all sectors, in compliance with the existing regulations, and circulate it to the health sectors for implementation.
Monitor the health sectors' implementation of the system for handling breast milk substitutes.
Prepare periodic reports and submit them to the council.
