It is one of the national centres of the Saudi Health Council, which is responsible for legislation, coordination and integration of services provided to persons with developmental disorders in accordance with Supreme Decree No. 227 of 1423/10/13 on dealing with autism spectrum disorders and overall growth disorders, which resulted in the establishment of the National Centre for Comprehensive Growth Troubles, pursuant to Saudi Health Council resolution No. 10/59 of 1433/03/20.​


Vision:

The Centre should be the national reference for services provided to persons with developmental and behavioural disorders in Saudi Arabia.



Mission:

The National Centre for Growth Troubles (NCDC) is working to organize and improve services for those with developmental and behavioural disorders.



Objectives of the work of the National Center for Inclusive Growth Troubles:

  • Highly effective coordination of services for people with developmental disorders, behaviour in the health and support sectors in Saudi Arabia.
  • The growing impact on the development and delivery of health services to target groups of high and equitable quality in their accessibility.
  • Provide documented and scientifically substantiated information on developmental and behavioural disorders in Saudi Arabia.
  • Creating an effective network of relationships and partnerships to develop services for people with developmental and behavioural disorders.
  • Issuance of procedural manuals and reference policies to facilitate the provision of services in all relevant disciplines.
  • Follow-up on the implementation of reference decisions and policies to facilitate the delivery of services in all disciplines relevant to all sectors.​
