Heart: 

It is a muscle located between the lungs and pumps blood through the blood vessels to all organs of the body to be supplied with oxygen.​ ​

  • Rheumatic heart disease: damage to the heart muscle and heart valves, resulting from rheumatic fever caused by bacteria. 
  • Congenital heart disease: Heart defects observed at birth. 
  • Pulmonary embolism: Blood clots that develop in the veins of the legs and can travel to the heart and lungs.​​

Symptoms: 

Symptoms of a heart attack include: 

  • Pain or discomfort in the center of the chest. 
  • Pain or discomfort in the left shoulder, elbows, jaw, or back. 
  • The patient may experience difficulty breathing or shortness of breath. 
  • Nausea. 
  • Dizziness or fainting. 
  • Sweating.
