بناءً على قرار المجلس الصحي السعودي في اجتماعه الثاني والثلاثين المنعقد بتاريخ 1428/11/22هــ المتضمن تشكيل لجنة تنفيذية بالبرنامج الوطني للأمان الأسري، صدر قرار معالي وزير الصحة رئيس المجلس رقم 18053/84 وتاريخ 1429/02/30هــ بتشكيل لجنة تنفيذية للإشراف على تطبيق آليات التعامل مع حالات إساءة معاملة الأطفال ومن ثم تمت إعادة تشكيل اللجنة بالقرار رقم 1/120/211059 بتاريخ 1433/06/17هـ بمسمى اللجنة الصحية الوطنية للتعامل مع حالات العنف والإيذاء. - آخر قرار إعادة تشكيل بتاريخ 1437/07/06هـ.
