Dr. Nahar Mezki Al-Azemi is the Secretary-General of the Saudi Health Council since 2018, in Until today.

He also chairs the Internal Audit and Risk Management Committee at the Public Health Authority, and the Nominations and Remuneration Committee at the Saudi Patient Safety Center.

Previously, he held the position of Assistant Deputy Minister for Hospital Affairs at the Ministry of Health. He also served as the Executive Director of Medical Services for the establishment project of the Aldara Hospital and Medical Center in Riyadh.

In 2012, he was appointed as the CEO of Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Medical City Project, planned to serve the northern regions of the Kingdom. He was also a founding leadership team member of King Fahad Medical City in Riyadh since 2004, where he served as Executive Director of Academic and Training Affairs and later as Executive Director of Medical Affairs. Earlier, in 2002, he led the founding team of the Home Healthcare Program at the Armed Forces Hospital in Tabuk.

He also served as the Director of the Prince Khalid bin Sultan Center for Health Studies and Research, and has participated as a speaker in numerous national and international medical conferences.
